My mother recently passed away. As many of you may know, when you have a hummingbird or butterfly come to you the myth is its someone you lost and love. So, I bought this in that spirit. It's very pretty and I love it. Also, the fact that the infinity symbol is on it as well was another reason. I miss my mom every minute of every day. I took care of her 24/7 when she was sick. I kept her home with me (I have medical training) and it was the hardest thing I've ever done! I held her hand and told her how much I love her as she took her last breath. It was an absolute honor taking care of her! So this is why I got this necklace. It may sound stupid to people but it's something I feel will make me think of her even more while I wear this beautiful necklace. I'd recommend it 100%!!I'm so sorry if I made any of you cry reading this. I also recommend if you ever have the honor to take care of your mom when she's dieing do it!! You will lose a lot of sleep and have no life but it will be worth it to have that time!! I miss her so much that it hurts and it catches me off guard a lot. I'll be doing something and burst into tears! Sorry, I know this is supposed to be about the necklace but I wanted to explain why I bought it!

It's likely overpriced considering materials and quality, but it's priceless to me.It's a beautiful design regardless and holds a lot of meaning for me. My Mom passed recently and we held her Memorial just before Mother's Day. I ordered this as an affectionate reminder of my eternal love for her. You can't put a price on something like that, and it truly expressed my sentiments quite beautifully. It's something that will reassure me and bring fond memories every time I look at it.Likewise, this would make a very meaningful gift for Mom on Mother's Day. It comes in a nice hinged box with a velvety lining, making it a nice present to open. Five stars for design and sentimental value.
