Several reviews mentions the "flimsiness" for these earrings. They are only $30. Its called costume jewelry for a reason.Yes, the closure is not ideal but, it is not necessary to pull and push the post/snap down. If you carefully put the "post" thru the ear and then pull the entire earring -carefully- the post can be pushed thru without press it into that weak loop.Threading the needle so to speak.Gold and silver are cute!
