Especially with an up-do, great confidence booster and jewelry statement!They’re not SUPER heavy, but they can be if your ears are sensitive. The size equals out to almost a quarter or so, they aren’t too big or too small.It’s worth buying especially if you like making statements with your jewelry!

These earrings are a bit bigger and thicker than I had anticipated, but they're well made and they are packaged beautifully (these would would a great gift!!)I have sensitive ears and I was only able to wear them for 2 hours before they started hurting.

I wear all kinds of earrings, many of them costume; so wearing an inexpensive but nice-looking pair of earrings is a given for me. However, these earrings are a bit TOO fake-looking for me.The yellow that you see in the pictures...? Accurate, and not in a good way. These would work well in a theatre/performance situation - one where you're not up close and personal with other people. But for everyday wear, they're just TOO costume-y for me. The posts fit well, though; and the clasp at the back seems very secure.Maybe if I find myself doing a stage gig, I'll try them out; otherwise, I'm afraid they'll just sit in my jewelry box or be given away to a performer who might be able to use them.
