I received these yesterday and love them. These earrings have an antique feel to them and they are larger than they look from the picture. The amber is gorgeous and looks even better when the light hits them. The amber is a good size - larger than a pencil eraser. The silver is a good weight and nicely carved. The only drawback is the little hook to clasp shut the fishhook - it made it difficult for me to put them on since it does not allow a lot of room for your earlobe - but I will probably get the hang of it. I would highly recommend these earrings for anyone who likes amber.

Very disappointed! Some how I thought these earrings would be larger. They are pretty small. They also look rather cheap. They aren't inexpensive either. I wish I'd bought some of the slightly more expensive options macy's offered on deals.The packaging and delivery were satisfactory.Update: Now that the initial disappointment has worn off I'm beginning to like these earrings. They ARE small but pretty. Very delicate looking (in a good way). The wife likes them a lot so who am I to complain! I have increased the rating to 4 star.

I love these earrings! The silver is substantial, without being very heavy, the quality and workmanship of the design is very nice, and the color of the amber is beautiful. The price is unbeatable too! I've been wearing them every day since I received them, and I highly recommend these earrings and matching pendant to everybody.

Horrible craftsmanship. Both earrings arrived extremely bent and twisted. Read the return policy! These were a gift and I was unable to return them after 30 days. With some effort I was able to bend them back into a wearable shape, but giving these as a gift this was embarrassing.

Beautiful amber earrings ! They were true to the picture. Amber is a nice warm honey color. Very versatile and can be worn with jeans or for a more dressy occasion. I would like to see a pendant like this in a blue, green or cherry amber. I will certainly be purchasing more amber jewelry from Ian & Valerie

nice, a bit of a Victorian look there i think. Not too heavy and a perfect size - not too small and not too large. The amber is nice. I got a hang of opening and closing of them quickly enough. Very nice.

Can't say how much this pleased me. The earrings are lovely and understated. You'd think all the filigree would make them gaudy, but it's not so. These are well made and on excellent quality wires. Every time I looked at them, I smiled. What could be better than wearing something that makes you feel good about yourself.
