One complaint is that everytime I wear this necklace, glass beads break off and I find it annoying that I have to replace them. It was kind of expensive to have to do constant repair work. It is very pretty, but I should have been suspicious when it came with a whole bag of replacements.

Evoking thoughts of shimmering white sand beaches and a rolling blue sea this necklace, with it's simple elegance was both a pleasant surprise and made an impressive and memorable gift.The fresh water pearls have a gorgeous iridescence and the creamy white is a perfect compliment to the blue quartz. What I especially liked about the quartz are the rough cut of the pieces used and the varying shapes, sizes and shades of blue.My guess would be the quartz is either color enhanced or perhaps a synthetic compound as the only true blue quartz I know of in this color range is Dumortierite - which is quite rare and expensive. Regardless, this is by no means an issue as the look is stunning and the piece with it's gleaming sterling silver beads, soft color pearls and dramatic, eye catching blue is really lovely.The craftsmanship is superb and quality touches abound, such as a Rhodium plating over the sterling clasp. Rhodium is an element of actual Platinum and has a jaw dropping gleam to it. What is more, rhodium resists tarnishing, pitting and discoloration and it doesn't need the ongoing cleaning Sterling silver does. This is every bit as lovely as it appeared in the picture. I'm so very pleased with it! The product is listed as a pearl rope necklace, but it is actually two separate strands. When I tried it on, doubled over as it is in the picture, it was a bit too tight to be comfortable. I purchased two pearl shorteners (available on Amazon) and linked them together, through the shortener that held the strands together, and it is perfect! I can't wait for a special occasion to wear them.

I absolutely loved this but the first time I wore it, one strand busted and the beads spilled out all over the floor. It was embarrassing. I am returning it.

When I received my purchase, I noted that there were 2 necklaces,as advertised. However, one of them was of better quality than the other. In the one of better quality, the pearls were larger, the gemstones were of better quality and there were no inexpensive seed beads as in the second necklace. There was a pair of earrings included in the package along with a gift card to be used on future purchases-which was excellent. I did return the purchase. Had both necklaces been of equal value and quality, I would've kept them.

I purchased this piece for my girlfriend on her birthday. Guys understand how hard it is to pick out jewelry for girls, but I had seen her wear turquoise before so that is what I was kind of looking for. Also I am a big Amazon person, so I searched here first. When I found this piece I knew right away this is what I was getting. Sure enough she loved the necklace. She tells me she gets compliments all the time from friends and co-workers. It is good quality and looks great on her. I had been looking for something like this for a long time. The length is right; the pearls are smooth, lustrous and well-matched, and the gemstones are sparkling clear, not cloudy. It was more expensive than many other similar necklaces I considered, but this one is of correspondingly better quality, and, in the end, worth the money. Oh, and, I have not seen such exacting and elaborate packaging since I was in Japan. Beautiful job.
