Was nervous having such a delicate item ship. It was packaged in nicely thoughtfully done tissue to avoid scratches, then in thick layers of foam and tightly secured in the box. Lovely upon opening.The gap where you should slide cards in is slightly large. Someone could probably still stick their hands in an pull out a card. We will still use! The box is beautiful.
