I bought this for my dad last father's day. The watch was actually very high quality compared to what I was expecting, the chains were lightweight but sturdy and all the text was printed very nicely. I didn't know whether he'd like it considering he hasn't ever used a pocket watch, but I was amazed. It was one of two smaller gifts to throw him off the scent of his bigger gift (he's too good at figuring stuff out). I've never seen my dad cry but he actually teared up reading the watch and although he doesn't carry it with him he keeps it hung up where he can see it everyday. He told me at the end of the day that was his favorite thing he had gotten because it was more heartfelt even though the other two were usable.

The engraving was well done. I was worried about the quality because it was under $20 but not a plastic feel at all. Over all I was thrilled to give this to my dad.and he was thrilled too.

So the watch took a little longer than expected, but the seller/ amazon kept me notified of this as it changed. It was purchased as a gift. My father LOVED it. Has only been carrying it about a week in his pocket and still loves it. Not too heavy but also not cheaply made, An eye catcher and sentimental. Worth the wait.
