Just got it so I can’t speak to performance yet, obviously. However, it’s just as pictured. The clasp is sturdy with an extender if you don’t want a choker look. It’s got high shine, is noticeable without being gaudy, and truly a classic. I bought this to replace a tarnished piece I wore for years. It was worth the wait. I’m so glad I purchased this and can’t wait to wear it out. Recommended!

Love the way this necklace looks and feels. It goes with literally any outfit and the gold color is really beautiful and deep. I wanted a durable necklace that I could never take off because I sauna, cold plunge, live near the beach, and wear a lot of oil based perfumes around my neck. I did the try before you buy deal so I got to wear it through a couple contrast therapy sessions for 7 days and it held up WONDERFULLY. Color guarantee too? Sold. This necklace is a really awesome buy, I love it!!

I used to have a real 18k herringbone necklace years ago but after it broke I never replaced it and then gold got ridiculously expensive. This looks really nice so hopefully it will hold up and last for a while. So far it's been great. My real one kept breaking because my hair would get wound around it and that hasn't happened with this one.

This necklace is really cute and the length/sizing is just what I was looking for. I wanted an everyday, no fuss type of gold choker that I could just leave on and forget about unless I wanted to specifically change outfits/jewelry. I don't like to wear much jewelry when I work out, and I haven't tried swimming or anything similar while wearing, so I can't speak to the water resistance. I will say, for me, the gold tone is a little more orange/brassy than I might have liked. Also, I don't really like the adjustable chain added to the closure because to me that further cheapens the look of the necklace (real gold chains do not have those), and the weight those adjustable closures pretty much ensures that the chain will rotate on my neck so the closure is directly in front instead of the back - super annoying.I do like the weight of the chain and it feels fairly "sturdy". I've had a few real 14k gold herringbone chains over the years and they always got kinks in them which basically ruins the chain. I had a bigger/nicer one at some point too that constantly got the little hairs around my neckline caught in the herringbone "links" that actually hurt a bit and really turned me off from wearing it very often.So overall I would recommend this chain, assuming the finish holds up as advertised and it lasts a long time (given the higher price). Another reviewer mentioned a warranty, but I didn't see any info on that in my packaging. This does appear to be a reputable vendor and I'm sure if you experienced any issues and reached out to them they would be helpful.

I wore this most days over last six weeks. I was careful to remove when exercising and applying skin care. I have waterproof gold plated jewelry from other competitors that I've worn for much longer with no issues (the other jewelry are bracelets and go through much more wear with all the handwashing). But the necklace corroded and turned into a nasty bronze after just 6 weeks of wear. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
