I needed a beautiful box for a ring I made for a special client. This box is gorgeous, very high quality, and I absolutely love it...BUT my ring, which is 1 3/4" tall, is too large for the lid to fit on the box. So clearly the box isn't 1.96". If you're getting this for a dainty ring like a traditional engagement ring, it's perfect. If you need the box to be 1.96", you're out of luck with this one. I'll keep it and use for a different client, but it would have saved me a lot of hassle if the measurements were precise.

This is a ‘fuzzy’ little ring box that is sturdy /well made. The lid is adequately tight. It will not pop off if tilted. The box fits a single ring. I tried several different styles of rings and they all fit. The 8mm band was a little tough to push through- but it did fit. All in all- cute little box and would be perfect to give if you are gifting a ring.

This ring box is so SIMPLE but PERFECT. I had trouble with other ring boxes not fitting my husband's ring due to having tight ring slots. That is not the case with this box, it fits my 7.5 women's thin engagement ring as well as a 9.5 men's band 6mm thick. The rings each LOOKS SO GOOD in this box, and I WOULD RECCOMEND it to anyone really.
