This watch is beautiful and very comfortable. However, you cannot change the battery. The watch was delivered with a barrier at the crown but when I removed it, the watch did not work. I pushed the crown in and pulled it out several times hoping that the watch would start to function but it didn't. I sent an email to the vendor and they responded within a couple days and just said they would send me a new one and to just keep the existing one, which I had to just throw away. They never answered my question about was there a way to replace the battery and I could not find any visible way to do this. You do not have access to the back of the watch as it is physically attached to the band at the back plate and you cannot see any part of the back plate. I received the new (replacement) watch just before new years eve and it works. Since the holiday season is over, I won't be able to wear it this year. I will store it with the crown pulled out so fingers crossed it will still work in the 2024 holiday season. The other positive is the watch did not cost that much so not a huge deal if it doesn't work but it is beautiful so I hope it does. Sure do wish the battery could be replaced.
