Birthday gift for my 16 year old son. He loves it, and it looks even nicer than the picture. After only 4 days of use it looks great, as you'd expect it should. Beautiful silver cross and chain. I selected the 1.7 mm chain instead of the larger 3 mm chain because I took so long deciding what crucifix to get that his birthday was days away and I couldn't wait for the non-prime delivery, thicker chain. But I offered my son the option to return it for him and I'd buy him the thicker chain, but he likes this one, and says it doesn't seem weak or frail at all. We will see how it holds up. If we have any issues with the crucifix or chain, I will update.

I ordered this crucifix as a replacement for one that I had lost while out running. The detail in the St. Benedict medal portions on both back and front are beautiful, and the detail overall is nice. I previously had the same crucifix and loved it, hence ordering this second one. This is a very nice, high-quality product that stands up nicely to daily wear while maintaining it's beautiful appearance. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This St. Benedict Crucifix, which I purchased for my husband's 30th anniversary present, is beautiful. The only thing I had to change about it was the chain. Even though it is offered with a lobster claw clasp, he has difficulty opening and closing it. Consequently, I had to buy a 26 inch one, which he can slip over his head. Although the chain may not be an issue with too many other customers, it might be helpful to offer a 26 inch one of some kind for those with dexterity issues. Since two other crucifixes I bought from other companies tarnished and could not be cleaned, Heartland's guarantee was very important to me. Although it did not come with other paperwork in the package, I received a personal reply from them, along with an online version.

Great Product and its beautiful!! I have no complaints but one concern. I work with my hands and am very rough with everything, the cross, i can tell will have no problems at all. The chain, however, it comes with is not light weight, but its not a "heavy duty" chain either. I'm sure this will hold up TO MOST PEOPLES every day abuse....but i personally will definitely be getting a heavier chain because there is no way it holds up to the abuse i will personally put it through! Great buy though!
