When I first received this item, I was highly impressed and taken with the box. I had never seen or held a lighted box before, so opening something up and seeing the light was incredibly new and interesting. It wasn't until I removed the actual necklace from the box that I realized this box may have been to distract from the quality of the jewelry itself. The listing describes the pendant as being a crystal, but it may not feel like genuine crystal to everyone examining or looking at the item. The back is darkened too with some kind of material, which makes it seem less high end somehow. When you look at the necklace independent of the packaging, it somehow feels a little like costume jewelry, even if it isn't intended that way.I wouldn't highly recommend this piece of jewelry as a gift to someone who is more discerning or discriminating with their tastes. It might be good for a night out or simply as an accessory to a blue outfit, or just something to occasionally wear to work, or a good gift for a younger woman, like a teenager or pre-teen. It might make a more casual or friendly gift, but I probably wouldn't present this to someone for a very significant event or occasion just in the event that they question the authenticity of the crystal.

When I opened the jewelry box, I couldn't help but say "wow"! Then I discovered something even more amazing: the crystal pendant glowed brightly no matter what angle I looked at it from. I guess it was because of the perfect cut inside out that allowed it to reflect the light every moment. I have bought many crystal necklaces, but none of them are as dazzling as this one. It's really impressive! My wife loves it！

I initially had ordered this because it reminded me of a necklace I had when I was a little girl in the 80s. When it arrived it was obvious that it was even nicer than the one that I had remembered owning. The box was outfitted with a LED light that just made it glow and shimmer as soon as it was opened. The extra little details with the lock and the CZs are lovely and completely on trend with all of the key necklaces that are out there now and would look great layering with one. And the Crystal is actually larger than the one that I remember owning and that was a very pleasant surprise usually it's in reverse where things are smaller than what you remember. It shimmers from Blue to purple and is grabbing light even when there seems to be very little light to grab. Would definitely make a very nice Valentine's gift

When I opened the box, instead of saying "wow" at the necklace, I said "wow" at the box. Very interesting idea of opening the box and having a light shine down on the crystal necklace. It sure does make it sparkle. The crystal heart is pretty, and the colors are perfect for what I like. The chain is adjustable for a shorter length, which is nice. The chain is pretty thin, thinner than I typically like. If the chain were thicker, the heart would not overpower it so much. My question is, how long will the light in the box last?
