Love the old-fashioned look of this locket. It reminds me and my girls of Victorian and Regency period lockets that little girls & ladies wore. Among the 3 locket options, this Tree of Life pendant is the most vintage-looking and the most feminine. Its 925 sterling silver material was likely oxidized to give that tarnished antique appearance to this pendant. It's a good choice since it makes the Tree of Life emblem more significant when it looks ancient yet still quite alive & flourishing. A great positive meaning that I like my daughters to embrace. This flat pendant actually opens up to a frame that can fit a very small photo, paper, hair, or dried flower (see pic). My young daughter likes to wear it, although its 18 inch silver chain is really quite long for her.Recommended.
