This piece of amethyst is a real crystal, not synthetic. It's a luck of the draw when buying because there is so much variation in stones. The one I received did not have as much variation as the crystal pictured, I am pleased with the different shades of purple and violet in my pendant. The dimensions given are accurate. I like the hole drilled at the top of the stone. I wasn't crazy about the braided cord, so I made a bail out of a thin piece of beading wire and placed the pendant on a silver chain.

I purchased this black Obsidian necklace as a protective stone for my son. He absolutely loves it!! The material of the necklace allows you to tighten or losen it at will. The stone has a good amount of sun it’s to it also, but isn’t to heavy for my 13 year old. I’ll be purchasing again in the future!
