This is awesome for the price.Honestly, When I had visit Hawaii, I had forgotten to get my best friend something (oops!!) since I had such a good time!So this was my answer.The charm was ever so slightly different from the picture, but overall its a really nice item, I'm thinking of ordering another for myself :).I really like the adjustable tie/bead system on the necklace.

I received the necklace in the mail today and I was really excited, however when I opened the packaging I was disappointed. I understand that I paid only 10$ for this necklace, but I still expect there to be some kind of quality of craftsmanship. The necklace looks nothing like the picture. The bone is dull, and looks like a piece of cheap plastic; I don't mind this too much, but what really irks me is the pendant is chipped in multiple places. The loops in the pendant are poorly done. They're chipped in between the loops and some parts of it look like they've been broken off. No effort was made to correct this or to smooth out the jagged edges. The pendant also seems very fragile and it seems that it would break if it was accidently dropped. I hope I can return it or exchange it for a better one.

I was expecting a Traditional Hawaiian story to go along with these tokens/pendants so that the receiver's would appreciate such gifts more deeply. Plus, it doesn't look like the one deplicted in the advertised photo & the upward spirals are flat & not rounded. It looks like a cheap trinket when it arrives to your address.

The necklace indeed does not look like the picture. The necklace is, in fact, flat and thin. I don't mind this at all and actually like i better than the necklace that I thought I would receive. Anyways, there are chips in the necklace towards the center of the loops. I don't really mind the chips and prefer the minor imperfections over something that would look unrealistically shaped. I am also afraid that I might break it if I squeeze it :( but I don't think I will do that. Shipping was great and I like it a lot even though it isn't what I expected.
