This Hamsa Crystal Tray for Stones is a great tray for holding your stones and crystals and a great addition to any meditation, display, or decor setting. I had the chance to grab this Hamsa Crystal Tray for Stones I took it, now happy I did. It's a nice looking piece, holds a large number of stones and crystals, and looks great out. I'd been using a ceramic bowl, nervous it would crack under the weight or with having stones come in and out - each time you'd heard the hard clank the stone would make, even when gently placed. So I had to find something better and this Hamsa Crystal Tray for Stones is that something.It came in a box that felt so light, I almost thought they hadn't put the tray inside. I opened and sure enough, there it was... but wow, it is truly light! Made of bamboo I am not surprise, but again, I was - I know, I know... So opening it I found not only the lightness surprising, but the size. It is truly large. You are going to have plenty of room here for a lot of stones. I noted the product page picture where they had stones and crystals, plus other things and thought it couldn't be that big - but it is! I won't be able to keep it on my desk, but nearby and I'll continue to choose individual stones for the day. I try to show how nice it looks in the photos, along with how tall (note the stones set against the sides), and try, but not sure I accomplish, showing close up for you to see the "grain" of the bamboo. Honesty, it's barely visible in person. But it is there. And I'm sure it IS bamboo. The engraving is really nice, intricate, and looks great. Of course it gets covered, but it was so striking my wife was commenting about it repeatedly. You could use this simply as a place to store stones and crystals and I will. However, I can easily see how you could also use it as part of a mediation practice or some such thing. In the end this is not only a nice looking piece and really light, but it looks great on the shelf with my stones and crystals and has given my a great way to keep them present, but collected, easy to reach, and a nice, peaceful way to keep them part of my daily activities. I'm really happy I found it!
