I have a much smaller pair of spider earrings that I usually wear around Halloween but these are more the go big or go home variety. I actually love them. I don't usually wear larger earrings but for Halloween I'm willing to go all out. They are actually heavy too

The spider part of these earrings is so cute. I ordered some earrings last year that said they would be purple spiders and proved to be neither of those things, so I was very happy when I saw these are just as pictured.But the hooks are just... really odd. They're thicker than a standard earring hook, which wouldn't be an issue if it were just that. But they're also much shorter, so the decorative part of the earring sits higher against the earlobe and preventing the curve of hook from going all the way through, then the weight of the spider pulls the hook forward because it's not seated properly all the way through the ear.It's difficult to describe so I've tried to capture it with a photo. Bottom line is, I will be figuring out a way to get these sparkly spiders on either different hooks or possibly posts, because I really want to wear these earrings but they can't really be worn as is.

You should have heard the oohs and ahhs and hoots of laughter when I opened up this package. My elderly mother immediately claimed these for herself. So much bling. So fun. They're adorable. I was afraid they'd be too heavy but they aren't at all. She loves them.

Look nice and used with some clipon converters, had to bend the hook a bit to get it right but pretty much expect that with converters, it does seem a bit of a shorter hook than most. Still, works really well.
