Watch watch crown would Not wind the watch right out of the box and the Bracelet has very sharp edges. I will be returning it right away.

Everything about this watch is top notch! Quality is excellent and quite obvious when you first open up the box and hold the watch for the first time. Just the right weight for me.The striking light blue face is a head turner but in a subtle way.The bracelet fits perfectly for me (after removing just one link) and doesn't pinch at all.The luminous feature is among the best I've ever seen... no problem reading this watch at all in the dark!Best part about it is that its self-winding as you wear it! No need for batteries or winding. If you haven't worn it in a while or wearing it for the first time, you can wind it manually to get it going, after that just wear it.Definitely recommended!

This self-winding watch is HEAVY. In a pinch, you could use it as for self-defense. I HOPE the weight is due to it being made of titanium. It's good-looking, but pretty simple. No day/date. It probably won't be running when you pull it out of it's very nice box, but it might be, because just handling the box is enough to wind it up, some. It is covered with a lot of protective plastic film. If it's not already running, how do you wind it up? You can't. At least, not by the crown. You can shake it vigorously side to side. If you put it up to your ear after doing this, you may hear the little weight inside spinning around. That's how it's wound. As you wear it and move your arm normally, a little weighted wheel moves around, winding the watch. The instructions say 8 hours of wear should be enough to fully wind it, and it should run 40 hours if it's fully wound.The next question is, "How do you set the watch?" The answer is in the instructions, but be sure to read them. First, you have to turn the stem counter-clockwise to be loosen the screw on it to allow it to be pulled out. Set the watch. Then push the stem back in and turn it clockwise to tighten back into the case. I assume this is to improve water resistance.It seems to keep good time. Self-winding watches, even the best of them, won't keep time as well as a quartz watch. Within a half-minute per day is about as good as you can hope for. Even my Seiko self-winding watch doesn't do any better than that.I did find that it had one of the easiest bands to remove links from, using a tiny screwdriver included in the watch packaging.A nice watch. I do recommend it.
