I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 11 yr old grandson. I had previously bought him the bat n ball necklace for his birthday, as he plays baseball on a team in summer! He plays basketball in winter. When he opened this he was esthetic ! “Look, Grammy got me one with a basketball too”, he exclaimed! It was a great hit! I’d definitely recommend it for young sports enthusiasts! My grandson’s baseball team won the season baseball championship! Had I known of the baseball necklace then, I would have bought one for each of his team members!

Nice and heavy chain and charm. Very sturdy. Have not had it long enough to see if it turns color. By appearance it doesn't look like that will be an issue
