My son is very hard on his things. This was a Christmas gift, his jersey # is 6 and so when I saw an inexpensive necklace like this, stainless steel, it just made sense for my 9 year old son. I have been pleasantly surprised. It has held up to constant abuse going on almost a month now. He wears it constantly, to practice, to bed, in the shower sometimes. He takes it off and on frequently enough that I am surprise he has not lost it or broke it yet. Given the inexpensive nature of the item, I would recommend.

This necklace was perfect for my son (his baseball number is 4) and he loved getting it as a gift. However the chain that it came with is VERY sharp - when you run your hand over it in one direction (not the other) it painfully catches on your skin. I'm going to ask if we can get a replacement chain from the seller, perhaps it was just a oddity.

My 14 yr old "adopted" son actually picked this pendant out & specifically asked for this particular one. This is his jersey number. The pendent and chain arrived within prob 5 days of placing the order (during the month of December when everything else I ordered at the same time was several weeks late). It looks exactly like the picture being advertised. The chain isn't the prettiest, although he liked it. But for the price, you cannot complain. I purchased him a sterling silver chain for the pendent around the same time. He's now had it on for 6 weeks (continuous wear), and it still looks just as good as it did 6 weeks ago.

You never know what to expect from Amazon these days, but I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of these baseball necklaces!! The pendant is the perfect size, not too small nor too big, yet well made with the right thickness and durability of the pendant and chain. I already bought another for my 6 ur old.

Love!! Baseball moms must have!! I got this to wear to my son's baseball games. Perfect accessory for my Baseball Mom Life! It comes on a long chain, substantial, not thin or cheap. I like to wear it as a choker, about 16 or 17 inches, around my neck and you are able to do so with this clasp and chain. It's easily adjustable. It's a nice weight too. It doesn't feel heavy wearing it yet it's not cheap or thin. You won't regret getting it!

Pendant is awesome. Way better than the crappy one I got from pictures on gold a year ago. Only issue is I went and got a different chain, in this case actually got leather. The chain that came with it is OK but wanted to make sure it was sturdier.
