I got this for by my kitchen sink to set my rings in to keep them safe while I do dishes. I am a Libra and thought the gold filagree zodiac constellation was beautiful. It looks beautiful with my granite countertop colors and goes with my white French cottage style/decor of the house. I love the unique wavy edges. For a small shallow ring tray it holds a lot of rings and earrings. I sometimes put my plugs in it because my Parrotlets try to eat them while on my shoulder lol. It definitely fit more then I expected and yet is still inconspicuous in my countertop by my sink.It is a well made and glazed ceramic dish. As someone who makes ceramics, I have since high school in 1995, I can appreciate a well made piece. The gold filagree is a 3rd step in the process as it is applied after the last glaze fireing; you paint the liquid metal onto the glaze and then the piece is fired a third and final time at a lower temp to set and solidify it. This is real metal and will scrub off eventually if abrasives are used so it is not for food consumption only decor. I have personally used silver, gold, and Platinum in my ceramic arts. The paint on this piece is clean and crisp and I am impressed with it's quality. I am very pleased with this item.

It's very cute, beautiful, and easy to use, but it's small as shown in the photo. With three necklaces and it's almost full.I would recommend this if you have a few jewellery that you want to wear every day. It's open, so easy to grab the one you like very easily. Pay attention to the size before buy it.I think it a little bit overpriced for own use. But it is a nice gift to somebody!

It is about 4" in diameter and I love the asymmetrical design.Arrived in a little white box, easy to wrap.
