First off, it's important to note that in the product description, the seller says that the compass necklace and the chain are "S925 sterling silver based". It's the "based" part that bears closer attention as the chain is silver plated, likely over stainless steel as it responds to a magnet, while the pendant itself is the only part that is truly sterling silver. Once you are aware of that, the price may put you off, or not, depending on your thinking and why you're getting the necklace. I got this for my wife who has been teaching for more than 20 years (I'm also a retired teacher but it looks a lot better on her, trust me!) and the quarter-sized pendant is absolutely stunning. It comes in a very nice gift box and bag setup, making it easily giftable, but I had to spend about 20 minutes with some fine-tipped tweezers untangling the chain due to how it was packed inside, so I definitely recommend checking it first. The chain is a little on the delicate side but the lobster-claw clasp is easy to operate and the chain has a nice 2-inch length of adjustment incorporated with it to make it easy to size it properly.

I had not heard of a moissonite diamond before this to be honest. However, after learning more about them and then seeing this in person - I am absolutely astonished at how beautiful it is!!!Unless you are a professional jewler and have an up close look at this, there's absolutely no way anyone could tell that this was not exactly what you would consider a real diamond.The chain is perfect and just the right length for a necklace. The actual pendant is so shiny and gorgeous, as well as the engraving that is on it. There is literally nothing negative to say about this!!I guarantee you that whoever you give this to (unless you keep it for yourself) will be completely blown away by its beauty. Most definitely worth the 5 stars!

This is a great item to get I got it for my daughter because she is graduating, and I thought would be something she can carry with her wherever she goes. It looks exactly like the picture and it's a decent size. I really like it the color of the gold is really good it looks expensive and the cz is sparkling. Love it, it's a great gift.

This necklace arrives precisely as pictured. The box looks like a mortar board, and it fits inside a very giftable bag. The 2023 tassel is a nice touch. "Enjoy the journey" is the sentiment I'd like to send with my child as she makes her way out of high school into college, and I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction to this piece. I think it is lovely.
