I really enjoy the watch so far - although it's only been a few short weeks. It is very attractive and functional. I found it very interesting that the roman numeral for 4 is written 'IIII' rather than 'IV,' but have since discovered that this is a very old tradition in timekeeping. Looks historic, works well. I especially enjoy watching the time tick by inside - although tempus fugit is especially true if you spend it watching time do just that.Bottom line - it's a beautiful piece. I ranked it a four but, to be fair, I can't afford anything that would qualify as a five - this is probably a five for the under $100 range of pocket watch.Update - soon after I wrote the above review, I dropped the watch - I now know there's a fob included for a reason - and it stopped. I set it aside and, one thing led to another, and it wasn't until August I finally got around to doing something about it. Needless to say, the official channels of refunds, et al, were closed. A simple e-mail to Dave at Gotham resulted in a replacement being shipped the next day. It is due to this quality, a company offering this type of support for this product, that I raised the ranking to a five star - if you are hesitating, then feel confident and take the plunge!
