looking for a quality daily use pocket watch I took a chance with two of these. One in gold that’s water resistant to 30m for $149, and one in gun metal with no water rating for $79.For the first 3-1/2 days these watches were so erratic I decided I was going to send them back and got a return authorization for each. I had written my review of my experience up to that date but decided I would give it another day before boxing them for return.they weren’t just slow or just fast. It was a radical error to each extreme. Dave was extremely courteous, already reaching out to see if he could help by offering a new clocked piece or two have mine re-tuned. Day 4 whoa ! both pieces are holding perfect time.I’ve had them for a week now with good results. I recall reading one full wind per day but I’ve been having to wind in the morning and before I go to bed.

It has kept perfect time from the day I received it a week ago. It didn't need to seem to have to calabrate itself like in the other reviews I have read. Overall this is an excellent pocket watch an I would recommend it to anyone who wants to add a little class to their wardrobe.

I just recently purchased 2 different models of pocket watches from Gotham Watch Company that are both the railroad style look as shown pictured. One is with a double hunter case (GWC18806G) and the other is an open face design (GWC14108G) and both have the Montgomery Dial! These 2 pocket watches are literally built like tanks as they are extremely well made with much attention paid to very exacting details. The finish and fit up on these are nothing short of immaculate. The double door covers on the hunter case model fit up very nice and tight. Also the accuracy on both of these models are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend these watches from Gotham Watch as the quality really is very obvious once looked at and felt of. I just cannot get over the price point on these compared to the actual pristine quality that you are getting. I know exactly what superb quality is in a well made railroad pocket watch as I currently own fine examples of the Hamilton 950E, 950B, 992B and a Waltham Vanguard with winding indicator as shown pictured. These 2 Gotham pocket watches that I have just recently purchased are really exceptional pieces in build quality, fit, and finish for a modern day produced pocket watch to run a very close similar look and feel to the old railroad vintage pocket watches of yesteryear. A very big shoutout and thank you to Dave, the owner, who has brought this new brand to us to enjoy as a modern day produced finely made and crafted timepiece!!!
