I bought this to wear for Mardi Gras but it will become a more frequently worn piece of jewelry - it is quite lovely and the size is right - it's not overpowering or gaudy yet still catches the eye. I am usually in gray/navy/black for work when meeting clients and going to court and always looking for a touch of bling to wear to bring a little something/something to the 'uniform' along with my scarves and shawls and this is perfect. And it's not your great great grandmother's broach......it's unique and distinctive. They may not remember my name the first time but I am the woman who always has on interesting jewelry and 'what is she wearing this time?'.....so this goes right next to my V for Vendetta mask pin as a go to item.
