My kids love Harry Potter but as I have found with other Harry Potter branded items the quality is hit or miss. The necklace looks good but the watch stopped working within days of receipt. I actually had the right battery replacement so I gave that a try to no avail. I returned it and the company sent out a replacement with no problems at all. The new watch is identical and has been working for a month. The latch is a little finicky and doesn’t seem durable. Overall I am pleased with the company and my kiddo loves the necklace but I do wish it was a little higher quality.

There are absolutely NO instructions on how to open the watch, or if it winds somewhere or has a battery. Once we got it opened, we were able to set the time, but it doesn’t work. Does it wind up? If so, where/how. Is it battery-powered? How do I replace the battery? I’m glad I opened it before I gifted it since it’s not working. Also, the wings do not stand straight out as pictured. They are loosely attached and droop straight down.

This was for my granddaughter. It looked to be perfect- shiny, new, attractive, and just what she wanted. Thank goodness I examined it when it arrived rather than wait until Christmas. The watch wasn’t running at all. Dead as a door nail. Back it went.
