You can put the ring with the stone on the side facing your hand or the side facing your finger tip, depending on your preference. I prefer the stone on the side closest to my hand like it is trying to crawl up my arm.

The gold color is obviously not real gold but it's not tacky fake gold. The stone has a lot of inclusions but that really actually enhances the paraiba color by giving it dimension and depth. The sizing is accurate and the band doesn't irritate other fingers. I've been looking for some dressy jewelry to class up my work outfits and this ring does the job--it's not one you'll see coming and going, the color is vibrant, the setting is unusual, and it just brings some color and style to my wardrobe.

shiva might be a tad bit jealous since the ring is so much brighter in green than she is, but she's far cuter.i actually don't wear a lot of colored gemstones so this was a great change for my current jewels. and i get so many nice compliments!

Pretty stone, well-made ring. Heavier than other rings from this company. Bright gold, very shiny. Setting isn't as refined as some of their other rings. Overall it's a nice ring that I'll wear with stackers.
