For under 12 dollars, these are a gift that would look like it was worth more than it cost. A good investment for a teenage girl. They are smaller earrings with detailed shell lines on the front and some nice green and blue bling crystals on the front. The bling is not so bright or big that it makes it look cheap, it enhances the look to look even more expensive.What is really a nice touch is the back of the shell is concave like a real shell, with shell line details, too. So if you have your hair up, the shell looks good from the back, too, as it dangles off your earlobe. I would like to see these have a metal back as well as a silicone stop guard. These only have the silicone stop back.These are heavy enough to feel solid like real gold, so they have good weight to stay hanging downward and not blow around or flip up, but not so much weight they are pulling your earlobe in an uncomfortable way.I'd say all around, these are just right and beautiful shell post earrings for a good value price. They aren't as large as I imagined they would be, but that is my fault for not reading the description better. Perhaps, in fact, being smaller makes them look more expensive like real gold because costume jewelry is usual large and showy and gives away that it is fake. These are conservative and elegant.
