I was a bit disappointed in this necklace—not because of the quality. The quality was good. I was surprised at how small the links of the chain are sized. Rather than looking like paperclips, the links are sized like those tiny gold safety pins. When I was about seven, I actually strung a box of those pins together to make a necklace. The resemblance is too similar. Except for the pin closures. The necklace lies smoother than the pins.If you are a small person, such a small necklace will be very becoming. I am older and larger and feel more comfortable wearing jewelry that fills that extra space more efficiently. I will wear it, though probably with another chain or a pendant.There is nothing wrong with this necklace. I was just expecting something larger. It is really quite pretty. As I said, there is nothing to complain about. I'm sorry that I seem to be complaining. It isn't that deep. It's just not what I expected.

This is actually a very pretty necklace for the price. It is a nice fit and does land right at the collar bone. I will say that if you are a large person or have a thick neck, it will be too tight for you. I like it because I have a lot of tops that I would love to wear a necklace with but the jewelry I have is too long to wear with them. This necklace will be just the perfect touch.

first impression was too light colored and shiny, like it's trying too hard to look nice. not sure if it's the way it's plated or the anti tarnish coating, or if maybe it would dull with wear. you can see the weld marks on each link. I hate extenders, but thought I could remove it and still have a 16.2 inch chain since it showed such a long chain on the models. This is incorrect. It is 16" with the full extension and does not hang as shown in the photos, Even on a very thin neck, but even basically choker on me. Measure where your 16" lays.2.5 stars because it is inexpensive, and would meet costume jewelry needs if I wanted a choker and removed my other gold so it didn't contrast so starkly. and because I also really like the weight of the chain, and the somewhat delicate links considering the oversize design. I will not wear personally but may possibly use for fun little trendy stocking stuffer

My daughter likes this necklace, but she says the clasp sometimes sticks open and does not close. Otherwise, the necklace looks nice. Nothing fancy, but as expected at this price.

This is the best “dupe” piece of jewelry I have ever received from Amazon. The yellow gold plating looks just like 18k and I have been wearing it in the shower for about a month and shows no signs of tarnishing. I don’t like chunky jewelry and the size of the links is dainty but not enough so that it disappears. This piece fits me like a choker but the is a one inch extender if you want to wear it a little longer.

This necklace is nice quality and is the trendy paper clip style I've been wanting to try. However, the models in the photo give the impression the chain is much longer than it is. I have a pretty average size neck, and it full extension the necklace is essentially a choker, certainly not resting on my collarbones as they describe. If you are a child or have a very slim neck, it may sit better for you.

This necklace is a nice, inexpensive product for a very on-trend piece right now that will suffice if you don't want to break the bank and perhaps plan to wear occasionally (personally, I would probably avoid wearing in the water/shower and while working out). One thing I did notice is that there seemed to be a slight imperfection with the extender piece of the chain where a couple of the little rings were fused together near the jewel at the end. Not sure if this was intentional or a QC oversight. Overall, it's a pretty piece of costume jewelry that I will still wear all the same and that I did not have immensely high expectations for.
