This is the perfect little hummingbird necklace. I have been wearing it around my neck and it hasn't become discolored, it hasn't left any discoloration or staining on my skin either, and it hasn't caught any of my hair. I have zero complaints. Let me start by saying that my four-year-old granddaughter is fascinated with hummingbirds. She kept saying I want to wear a necklace like my sister (7yr) does. When I saw this I thought it would be the perfect introductory necklace for her. It's petite enough that she can wear it and it looks like it was meant for her age. Gold is very shiny but chain is delicate, very thin.The charm has adorable detail and is easily recognized as a bee. Chain length is ideal, not too long, not too short, adjustable depending on how you secure the lobster claw clasp - you can choose any link for there isn't a traditional clasp ring. At the end of the chain is a tiny, tiny crystal, giving a lovely, thoughtful detail at the back of the neck.I like to wear the chain sideways so the crystal end dangles at the side of my neck.Ideal necklace for bee lovers of all ages.
