This is a great looking pendant necklace. While simple in its appearance - a single gold plated block capital letter centered on a circle pendant measuring 5/8 of an inch in diameter faced with mother of pearl and a decorative gold edge - this pendant necklace not only looks more expensive than it is, but it gives its owner a very versatile piece of jewelry, that will be equally suitable for everyday casual wear as it would be with that little black dress at an elegant more formal occasion.. It could easily be layered with another chain. The chain it comes with is quite fine, and its length can be adjusted between 16 to 19 inches as it has an extender.. It fastens with a lobster claw clasp. This necklace comes attached to a very pretty decorated card (about the same sturdiness of an index card) with the excess chain length placed into a small plastic ziplock top bag. which has been attached to the back side of the card, with the entire card then slipped into a cellophane wrapper prior to shipping. I enclosed a close up photo of back side of the card for two reasons - the first is just to let you know the chain will move around in that bag during shipping and could be somewhat knotted by the time it gets delivered to its new owner.. In my photo, you can see the chain looked like it should have been very knotted, however, it actually only had one small knot to untangle. The second reason is because the back of the card has care instructions printed - "Remove jewelry prior to swimming, exercising, applying lotions or perfumes and before bedtime".
