I have a niece who is slowly adopting a touch more femininity to her wardrobe and accessories. Being deeply ensconced in the ‘tomboy’ look and attitude, this is indeed a slow adaptation. She’s not my daughter but really is my mini-me, so I know she has to make the decisions as to what and when she wants to add a hint of (as she calls it) girly stuff. I got this necklace for her to see if this was the type of accessory she was looking for. Instant success; both she and her mother approved. My niece liked that it was delicate and understated, her mom loved the fact it was a dainty piece of jewelry and not a bulky monogrammed necklace you would likely see on a grown man.This necklace is pretty and by looking at it does not appear to be cheap; it is an affordable, lovely piece of jewelry that should serve our tween’s needs quite nicely.

The necklace is lovely, and at this budget price is affordable. The initial is thick, but mine hangs a bit sideways, plus the chain has a kink in it that I have been unable to straighten completely. The necklace has a bit of weight to it that makes for a bit more expensive look than it is. It is shiny, and somewhat more golden looking than real solid 14K gold. It is well-made, and seemingly durable. The lobster claw clasp is fairly easy opening/closing without assistance. It’s a pretty good purchase for a very low price fun accessory.I enjoy it as casual wear and have worn it on occasions such as out to dinner, family gatherings and small friends social events. I do not care for the glued in zircons because I think that cheapens the look of an otherwise nice accessory.

I ordered this Risamil gold necklace with the letter C pendant and I’m actually surprised with the overall quality and presentation. It came elegantly packaged and beautifully crafted in hypoallergenic 14K gold plated brass with a lobster claw. The initial C pendant is also nicely designed and the addition of the cubic zirconia adds a lovely touch.For the current price of $9, I didn’t expect it to be as durable and charming. So it’s definitely worth the cost for costume jewelry even if it’s not long lasting.
