This is an extremely cute piece of jewelry, I purchased it as a nose ring. I was a bit hesitant due to the infection reviews, but I went ahead and ordered two. My skin is fairly sensitive so before I replaced my nose ring I washed my hands and I disinfected both my nose and the new jewelry. The first day or two were ok, the normal irritation of a new ring. About two days later I noticed clear pus coming out. Tried not to freak out, until day 3-4 I started to notice a keloid forming both in my nose and out my nose. I was still giving it the benefit of the doubt since it's so freaking cute, but day 5-6 keloids were way bigger and alot more puss and discomfort. I went ahead and purchased other nose rings, and just hours later after replacing it my nose irritation was so much better. It is beautiful, sturdy, and worth the money, but if you have sensitive skin do not risk it. I ended up giving the other one I did not get to use to my sister in law, she did not have any reaction to it and she has been using it for over a week now.

I bought an 18g 6mm gold hoop for my nose, i love it so much, it fits perfectly (granted you have to measure for perfect fit) I’ve ordered this exact size and shape before, (about a year ago) It doesn’t cause my nose to turn green and the jewelry is the same as the new one i just ordered! I have both sides of my nose pierced so i love these products. pictured is the new one just delivered, next to it is the one i’ve used for a while now :)

If I could give this product zero stars, I would. I've never had any troubles with any types of jewelry and have multiple piercings. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin either. However, after wearing this jewelry, a bubble started to form at the site of my piercing - which only got bigger and bigger as time went on. I took it off and switched to another jewelry and the swelling went down soon after. After some time I decided to give this earring another shot to see if it ,indeed, was the jewelry causing the swelling bump or not; and it was. Yet another pustule formed, this time much more angrier than the last. I've switched it back to my surgical steel jewelry for now but now I'm dealing with a bleeding pustule and infection. Again, I've never had any problems with many different types of jewelry (real, fake, different metals, the lot of it), so if you have sensitive skin or allergies of any kind -- beware and stay away. I'm not sure what the materials are for the metals in this earring but clearly it's not safe.I reached out to the manufacturer with no luck of getting in contact. Pretty much a waste of money and an infection I've to deal with now.

I was changing my piercing jewelry over to gold and was absolutely enamored with the look of this clicker hoop for my conch. After reading reviews and measuring my ear, I selected the 16g in the 10mm size. It did end up being a bit small and pulls on the side of my ear a little, so next time I’d definitely size up to the 12mm for a more comfortable fit.My biggest qualm is honestly that the ring slides around, which normally not a biggie, but with this one when the gems go through your piercing hole it is quite uncomfortable and irritates it. The metal itself didn’t irritate my piercing at all and I have fairly sensitive skin, and the clicker is high quality. I do love this ring, it’s held up through swimming at the beach and showers without any problems, it’s stayed shiny and all the gems are in tact. I just find when I wear it I have to readjust it pretty often to make sure only the metal is in my ear and not the gem part, so now I only tend to wear it for short stretches because it’s really cute, but a hassle having to change it so frequently.If I could go back and order again, I would absolutely go with this company again because the quality impressed me (and I have tried quite a bit of jewelry over my 10+ years with piercings). I would however definitely have ordered the double row ring to prevent it from the gems sliding into the piercing, and in the next size up at 12mm.
