Given the price, this is an attractive ring. It does indeed appear to be 14K gold plated. The stone is small but pretty. This piece of jewelry is probably most likely to appeal to a someone in middle school or high school, but it may have broader appeal. It does not look or feel like an expensive piece of fine jewelry, but--again--it's quite affordable.

I don't normally buy jewelry with hearts on it, but I have lots of GNIRTSI rings and I wanted to add this one to my collection. If you're familiar with GNIRTSI, I would say this runs on the chunkier side compared to most of their other rings, but it's still very pretty. I knew it would be larger so I ordered it in a size 8 for my pointer finger to make a small statement! The ribbed band is not so wide that it bothers my middle finger so it's comfortable and the ring fits true to size. These rings do have a subtle hint of rose to them, so they're not a true yellow gold, but I absolutely love them and they look gorgeous stacked together.
