All of the colors on this are very shiny and bright, even the little black hooves. The pin part of it works well and it is not so heavy that you will be limited in what you can wear it on. The weight is suitable to wear it on a light weight sweater and the size of it will make it look nice on a winter coat. It would be nice if the noses and eyes had a drop of the enamel on them rather than being all gold, but this way people get up close to see what they are. Children like these dancing reindeer as much as the adults.

This is a cute good quality brooch. I purchased it for a Christmas advent calendar, and it's perfect for it! The three little reindeer are adorable.The clasp is easy to work and it stays closed when needed.The brooch also came with two little giftable cards and a cute envelope. I'm not using this as a gift but the card is nice and I can use it for something else.
