These waist chains are beautiful, but I think the description is a little off in saying they are 26.77 inches on the tightest hook. My waist is exactly 26 inches, and even on that tightest hook the chains slid down to sit well below my belly button. Now I know that's sort of how they're shown to fit on the model in the image, but if the 26.77 inch measurement was accurate, then they should sit at my true waist on the tightest hook and not all the way down on my lower belly; and I know for a fact my waist is not any smaller than 26 inches. Either way, I can probably take a pair of pliers and DIY a solution, but if your waist is any smaller than mine then I might explore other options. Otherwise, they're very pretty chains and seem to be of high quality!
