These earrings are awesome! I get compliments every time I wear them. I was surprised when I first put them on, though, because the top butterfly goes in front of your ear, and the dangling part attaches behind. You can use the front on its own as a stud or use both parts. They are good quality and durable.

Very cute earrings. My only complaint is that the backing that it comes with sucks and actually were painful to wear over an extended period of time, but I'll just switch them out. They're cute enough that I'll give that a pass

These earrings are very delicate, so I recommend handling them with care. I don't know how long they will last, but I will enjoy them as long as they do, and then I can recycle them as deco for a junk journal cover. Manufacturer says the metal is brass with white gold plating, and the posts on the back are 925 sterling silver.The butterfly wings are embellished with a mirror - like AB finish which, in combination with the zircon gems and dangling draped chain give the earrings a magical, ethereal vibe. The earrings I received measure aprox. 3".These earrings come in a very nice, fancy box which consists of an outer box and an inner case with a cellophane type transparent top and bottom which makes the earrings visible as you slide the case out of the outer box (which is equipped with a ribbon pull to make removing the case easier. This packaging makes these earrings very gift-able.When my earrings arrived, one side of the chain on one of the earrings was caught in a detail on the side of the earring; I just pulled it very carefully and gently till it popped out. The issue caused no permanent damage.The set also comes with an extra set of earring backs which are doubled up on the posts.

They are fairly heavy earrings and larger than what they are portrayed as in the images. Cute, just too heavy to wear for long periods.

Great pair for date night, prom, going to special events, and more.Take off before swimming, bathing, working out, or applying the following- perfume, body spray, hair spray, cologne, lotion, sunblock, insect repellent, and similar products; to avoid ruining the earrings, causing corrosion, distorting the gems and decorations. I would probably only wipe with a damp or dry cloth to clean only if the chains are dirty, you could carefully handwash those, but the rest of it could get damaged. Treat these as costume jewelry, and they should last for years. The media could not be loaded.  I love butterflies and I like having them as jewelry whenever I can find some nice pieces. I got these earring since they looked so interesting with the dangling chains. I read some other reviews and some described them as "delicate", but I wouldn't use that word. They were a little bigger than I expected. The chains on them were of the same type that you could use to make a sturdy necklace, and have a good heft to them (for earrings). Each came with an extra back on it, so that was a nice consideration. I've gotten compliments from coworkers on them, so they are remarkable. I included a brief amateur video so hopefully it gives you a better idea of their looks more than a still photo. I really like them. Recommended!
