These are a very nice pair of statement earrings. The size of these surprised me even though I was expecting a larger sized gold ball on them. They only hang a little over 1 ¼” but they are big and bold and really show well hanging on your ear. The ball is 16 mm. The hoop on top of the ball is ½” hoop and it has a nice snap closure on them that goes directly into the hoop. You do not have to try and find the latch to close these; they close right up easily. You could easily take the ball off of these hoops and wear just the hoops as a classic simple hoop earring. The pair I received had no blemishes on them and the finish is a nice high-polished gold. They are lightweight, and they have a lot of movement to them. If your hair is up and you move around, you will know they are there but only because they are moving with you, not because they are heavy and uncomfortable. I do a lot of Zoom meetings and usually you cannot see my jewelry at all, but you can definitely see these.
