Hendrix had something similar. I've adjusted (ie, bent) it to fit at the 1st joint of my ring finger and in a few seconds I can have it on the top joint of my middle.It won't replace a full slide but for solos and 3 string chords its all you need. As a music teacher, I'd recommend it for students with small fingers or who might otherwise have trouble with a traditional slide.Try the bass power chords in drop D or, even better, Em open (EBEGBE or Ebm, all lowered 1/2 step) (EBEGBE) to start.Immediate "blues cred", great for other styles as well!

The ring was delivered within the time frame stated by the company but before I expected it to arrive. The ring is beautiful and the engraving perfect. "Come Thou Fountain" was a risk on my part, a variant of the original title to this very meaningful old Christian hymn which is "Come Thou Fount". Hopefully I won't misplace this ring like I did the other one I purchased previously without engraving. If I do, definitely I will be ordering another one but exactly like this one with the same engraved words.

I bought it to wear when I crochet to create a buffer between the yarn and my index finger (some yarns have rougher textures and tend to irritate my skin as they slide over the finger). It's not as wide as I'd hoped, but it does help some. I like the look of it, even though I don't wear it for everyday.

Nice ring. i have had it for a month. I fading slightly. My one complaint is that the edges are sharp and have cut the surrounding skin on my finger
