The media could not be loaded.  The pendant on the necklace was smaller than I thought it would be however I still really liked this necklace- the fact that it is smaller- doesn't make it something "showy"- rather it was more beautiful than anything. If you take a look at the photos that I took of the item, I took a penny and put it next to the pendant- to gauge its size for others.The best thing about this order - and this is the first time I have said this about a piece of jewelry (in the many, many jewelry reviews I have done)- is the chain (the best has always been the pendant). Even though I thought the pendant was unique, I thought the chain was much more so. That is because interspersed throughout the chain are the smallest silver beads (that match the necklace). Please take a look at my photos- so you can see what I mean.The pendant and chain are so dainty- it is a very feminine piece- the object of the pendant- a goddess- which very much matches the style. The clasp on the chain is very easy to attach and there are two other latches on the chain- so this necklace can be worn at three different lengths. I like that a lot because I often wear two necklaces- and since this one is so dainty- this is the tighter one (closer to my neck) and the shortest- and then I wear another longer chain with it.This necklace and pendant come in one of the most unique boxes I have ever seen- there is a mirror inside- when you lift the lid. Also, there is a very large AWE polishing cloth included with this order. It's a very unique necklace, that's for sure, I got the Athena one. But it isn't solid 14K gold or anything, it's only 14K yellow Gold Vermeil over Sterling Silver, so I really can't understand why it is as expensive as it is. I like the fact that you can choose a few different lengths for it to hang at, but the bigger chain loops that are at the different lengths are teeny tiny, so it is nearly impossible for me to put this on by myself at any length other than the longest, and I wish it had a more durable clasp that would make putting it on a lot easier.Overall, I really like how shiny and unique this necklace is, I just don't understand how they can justify the price, but I also have another necklace, also made by Awe, and it is similarly priced and is similar in quality. The box isn’t extra presentable either. I now just have to see how long these will last before the plating starts to rub off! It does suggest not getting it wet, and of course you won't want to put it on until your lotion or moisturizer has soaked in if you use it around your neck. I will be back to update my review once I start to have any quality related issues with it. They offer a 1-Year Warranty on it, so at least they have confidence in it lasting longer than that most likely! Only time will tell! 😉I hope My Review has been Helpful so far! 😊👍

This is a stunning necklace. I love the feminine power and independence that is represented by this Medusa pendant. I feel protected when I wear this necklace. The necklace and pendant are made from a weighty gold vermeil and are smaller than may be expected (about the size of a dime), but I actually love it. It's unassuming, but interesting. Any larger would feel a bit 'in your face.' It comes with a nice case and a polishing cloth. I'm completely obsessed with Awe Inspired jewelry now.
