I cannot describe to you how much I adore things that glow in the dark. I don't understand why they delight me so, but they do. I also feel the same way about skulls, so when I stumbled across these, I knew I had to have them as wedding bands.Now, my wife and I have been married since 2015, and we have perfectly serviceable wedding bands, but they do not have skulls and they do not glow in the dark and at the time, I didn't think such a thing existed because my mind had not been expanded fully.But now that we have these, our lives have been nothing but blissful and trouble-free. We don't fight anymore--ever--and I take out the garbage without having to be asked while she does 28 other tasks in the same time period. At night before bed, we "charge" our rings and then when we snuggle under the covers, they are super bright and it makes us giggle and feel like we are kids again, but make no mistake: we didn't know each other as kids and even though we sometimes say, "I wish I'd known you when we were younger," we both know that life would probably have turned out a lot differently and we most likely would not be snuggling in our bed right then as a married couple if we had known each other that long ago because, well, choices, people. Seems obvs to me.Anyway, I digress. Again. The rings are well-made for the price point. Mine is getting dinged up a bit on the beveled edges, but again, inexpensive. They "charge up" quickly in daylight or artificial light and hold a bright charge a decent amount of time. Here's a note for you if you care, though: when we ordered originally, we both ordered size 7 and the skull/bones design (that you see in the daytime) is gold-colored, even though the ring is silver colored. My wife's finger expanded somehow and she really wanted a 7.5, but they don't come in half sizes, so I ordered her an 8. Well, it came and the skull design was silver colored, like the beveled edges of the ring! Sweet!So I was pouting and saying, "I want silver, too!" even though my finger had not swelled and she, being the loving wife she is, said, just order another one--maybe it will be silver like mine because maybe they have both and since the description didn't say there were 2 colors, maybe we just both got gold the 1st time. So I did it, but just before I hit "order," I thought, maybe the 7s are only available in the gold and the other sizes are silver and it appears that I was right because when I received my back-up ring, it looked just like the other 7s we have--the skull design was gold-colored.Eh, whatcha gonna do? Cry? I sniffled once, but I held it together because the dog was watching me.I hope you buy this ring for yourself, even if you are single, because if you like glow-in-the-dark stuff (and who wouldn't?) and skulls, this ring will Change Your Life. If you don't want to be single anymore, it will help you attract a mate who cherishes glow-in-the-dark stuff so you can giggle together under the covers. Seriously--I really feel good about this for you.If you are happy being single, it will delight you by yourself and that is just as good, really, especially if you have friends and fun stuff you like to do. Don't let society try to force you into a culturally-appropriate box! Enjoy your life, because you only get one of them.
