This is exactly as pictured. Bear in mind that it is small - see the photos of it on a child, for example. Since it is designed for kids, small makes sense. Sometimes you see little girls walking around in jewelry that just doesn't seem to fit, right? I mean folks should wear what makes them happy, and that includes kids, but this *looks* like a kid piece. Not poor quality - solid sterling, not magnetic so I have no reason to doubt the metal - but something especially for them.That's not to say that an older person couldn't wear this. Butterflies are for everybody. The 14" chain fits me, an entire adult woman, but only just barely. With an extender it could probably work for a lot of folks from tweens on up.The czs seem solidly set, and this is rated for ages 3 and up, so there's been some safety evaluation. (The chain would probably be way too big for anybody any younger anyway.)For what you get, I think the price is within the range of reasonable and fair.Not quite 5 stars, but more than 4. I'd give 4.5 if I could.

I got this item for myself, 1) because purple is my favorite color, and 2) I love butterflies. I don't particularly like 'heavy/bulky' pendants, and this one fit the bill. It's quite small (maybe 3/4" tall), and light. Doesn't weigh down my chain. I did remove the pendant from the included chain, because it was waaaaay too short to fit my neck - even as a 'choker'. My only length option to select from was 14" - so I knew it would be short when I ordered the item. This is a very pretty necklace, and for the price point (currently $26.99 for the 14" option) you can't go wrong. Perfect gift for a little one, or someone who likes dainty butterflies.

The butterfly in this 'Girl's Sterling Silver Butterfly CZ Birthstone Necklace' is about 1/2" across. It's an ideal size for a small girl . The silver is really bright and the stones in the butterfly sparkle nicely. It comes in a nice gift box. Our mid-elementary girl will be thrilled with this.

This is definitely a cute little necklace, it's a smaller charm but doesn't lock sparkles, looks nice, fits nice well worth the money!!
