Well . . . Having lost weight, my ring finger has gone from a size 11 to a 9. I would have thought that ought to be small enough for one of these stretch rings . . . But, alas and a lack, ‘twas not to be. The elastic could stretch to the point where the ring was large enough, but there weren’t enough beads to cover the elastic. So . . . I cut a piece of silver duct tape just wide enough to fill the gap in the elastic. I slipped the ring on, divided the beads in the back where no one would see, and carefully wrapped the duct tape around the exposed elastic. It has he’d up beautifully so far, and no one is the wiser. I would definitely recommend purchasing a pair of non-stick scissors if you want to try this. I have wanted one of these rings since I saw them in the Lawton’s pharmacy just outside of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. I know that I still have weight to lose, but really wanted to wear the ring now. So, as my six year old niece is so fond of saying, “so there!”
