This necklaces is beautiful! I was looking for a special gift for my sisters (there are 5 of us). We lost our mom three years ago to cancer after her very brief battle. Since then the five of us have been caring for our 90 year old father who has dementia. We all take turns spending days and nights with him so that he is never alone. The past three years have been the most challenging of our lives, yet this experience has allowed us to re-discover how deeply and unconditionally we love each other; we can count on each other for anything.In honor of our mom's birthday in December, I wanted to get a gift for my sisters that symbolizes our collective strength, interconnectedness, and beauty. This necklace (x5) does just that. So much of what I saw online featured corny sister-themed messages engraved or printed right on the jewelry itself. I wanted something more elegant and subtle - something that only the five of us would understand. This design is perfect. It's beautifully simple yet representative of so many aspects of our relationship with each other. The photos of it are true to its design and the sterling silver is just the right amount of sparkle.We are absolutely thrilled and we wear them daily. Even the packaging was beautiful! I am 150% impressed!! I am so impressed with the quality and the packaging! I love that it came with a cute gift bag and tissue paper and a card! This gift is for a very special occasion. I work with children and families in the foster care system as a CASA and for the last year and a half have been assigned to a case with four little sisters age 9, 5, 3, and 2 and they are being adopted by an amazing family this Tuesday. This was the perfect Mother's day gift. The necklace is beautifully made and has jump rings in the chain to allow adjusting the length. Not only did the necklace come in a nice gift box, it also came with a pretty gift bag and gift card to write a personal note.
