I have shopped on line for an amber pendant and decided on this one. Like it says, it is a true cognac color and I love the inclusions. Amber is an organic gemstone and has to be appreciated for its softness (2-3) on the Mohs scale and the fact that there are inclusions from the tree sap which could be thousands of years old. So its true beauty is different than most gemstones. But. the color and the beautiful silver setting make this pendant a true work of art and science, even though its softness may require a little special care. I love it!
