I was very disappointed when I received these easel displays because of the location of the brass hooks. I sell three different lengths of necklaces: 17 inch, 19-in, and 21 inch. I could not hang the 21 inch on the easel at all because it laid on the countertop. It was too long. The 17-in was really the only one that looked sort of okay but it went all the way to the very bottom of the display area. As did the 19 inch. So unless you invest in a pretty sizable riser of some sort, all that is going to be in the field of vision of your customer is just all of the silver chains. The pretty pendant part is so far down the board that it's very hard to see. I wanted a way to pull the pendant part up to eye level so I went to my local Dollar Tree and bought three packs of those sticky adhesive plastic hooks. Instead of attaching them upright, as you would if you were using them for your car keys or for your dog leash or what have you, I turned the hook downwards so that the necklace had something to catch onto. I bought three packs for a total of $3.75 and I put a pack and a half each on two of the easels. I still gave the product five stars because the faux velvet fabric is nice looking. It isn't cheap looking. And the actual easel on the back is very rigid. With many of these types of displays, the easel back usually tears or rips or collapses with the slightest use. This particular display is very sturdy and I foresee the back portion of it staying together, even during transport to my sea glass festivals.It would not be fair of me to give this a three or a four-star, which was my first inclination, because maybe everyone doesn't have the same design sensibilities as me? It's not the company's fault that I want my pendants up higher. And I could have easily read the measurements in the description of the display item and realized that my necklaces were going to hang that low. So I still gave the product five stars because it's very well made and it's very affordable. If you are like me and would like your necklaces up a little higher, though, I would suggest getting these knockoff 'Command Strips' at the Dollar Tree....for a quick easy fix. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture before ripping out all of the gold hooks with my needle nose pliers. I didn't know then that I was ultimately going to write a review.
