I'm skeptical buying jewelry online, but I took the risk with this necklace. It came in very well packaged. I've been wearing it throughout the summer, going swimming with it, and traveling. It has not lost its shine and has had no issues with 2 toddlers pulling on it. It's a beautiful necklace and very durable.

Some other reviewers have said how small the necklace is. It really is the size of a dime. The details in the photos over over-represented. It seems to show the tumbled chips as if they are large and easy to see, but they are teeny little sand-sized rocks, and only the colors are really visible. It is a pretty necklace, but you'd have to look close to see the features that are enlarged in the photos.
