I found these earrings to be very pretty but hard to put on. The hook is a bit thicker then my normal earrings and the tip bends in a way that makes it hard for me to put through my ear piercing. I’m hoping if I straighten the tip of the hook I will be able to get them in.

My wife could not get these through her pierced ears. Luckily she makes and repairs jewelry so she had some similar hooks of a lesser gauge. She had never seen a gauge as thick as these on regular earrings. be prepared for this because they were a total no go unless modified. Otherwise the garnet chip component of the earrings are quite lovely with a natural sparkle that is quite pleasing. We were happy we made them work and she wears them often, but beware.

I love these earrings but the wire seems extra thick and I can't get them thru my ears. I've never had a problem in all the years (50) years I've had pierced ears. I'm looking for thin wires.

I was a little nervous ordering these earrings due to some of the reviews stating they were hard to get in, due to the thickness. I had absolutely NO problem putting these on. I bought them to match a necklace and they are perfect. If you’re on the fence, buy them.
