This is smaller than the photo would have you believe - the photo of a person wearing it, that is. The dimensions provided on the scale photo are accurate. On Amazon I almost never trust photos without scale in them because there's so much photoshop without *regard* to scale, on everything from furniture to, well, jewelry.This is sterling, stamped as it should be, and not ferromagnetic, meaning I have no reason not to trust the stamp. (Side note - the clasp IS magnetic, and that's fine because the inner springs should NOT be sterling. As long as the rest doesn't stick to your magnet, you're good.) The moissanites are tiny-tiny, so it reads basically as just glittery lines on the star rather than individual stones. It's also practically impossible to hit those little guys dead center, but I did manage to thermo test 2 of them, and they passed with flying colors. Since the manufacturer-seller has no way of knowing which ones anybody will be able to test, I see no reason to doubt that they're all real. In fact, in that size range, the cost of the moissanite itself is probably less of an issue than the labor cost in setting all of the tiny stones.The price is well within what I consider to be a reasonable range, again because of all the labor involved in the stones. Of course, we're also talking quality materials, so between the two I don't think $50 (at time of review) is unreasonable.
