I've just opened the box 📦 containing my new pear shaped Amethyst earrings from Gem 💎 King ... They are beautifully faceted in what I believe is referred to as a "cushion cut".. The stone appears to be flawless, with no visible scratches, cracks or chips. The colour, while not dark black purple, is a luscious deep rich lavender/purple that seems to "colour shift" ..darker to lighter .. lighter to darker depending upon the lighting inside or outside .. Truly lovely. Additionally, despite the carat weight of 7.5 carats per earring, they are delightfully light weight and easy on your ear lobes, as they are 925 % silver. In a nutshell, this means no red, puffy ear lobes, no rashes, no green or black rashes. This holds true for 98% of the people wearing these earrings. The setting is beautiful. In fact, I think parts are handmade .. The Bezel surrounding the Amethyst is lightly "textured" adding interest to an already lovely stone. But, the "little" surprise for me was the "7" tiny CZ's set in the front of the " shepherd's hook" or "fishhooks" , whatever you wish to call the wire that keeps your earrings in your earlobes.. 😃 .. These Amethyst earrings are beautifully made and a joy to wear. I can highly recommend them for Ladies of all ages. I hope my review will make your decision easier to make. I'm investing in 2 additional sets as granddaughters Birthdays are quickly approaching.. 😘
